Punishable inaccuracy related to tax

This decrease can be generated by omitting or underestimating assets, reducing valuations or tax adjustments or restatements, as well as by including non-existent liabilities or unauthorized or overestimated provisions, when these actions result in a lower tax payable.
The foregoing is without prejudice to any applicable criminal penalties.

For these purposes, the national government may prioritize payments arising from the public calamity over its other obligations.
Budgetary operations to address the emergency
The national government, in order to address the emergency, will adopt through legislative decrees the budgetary operations necessary to add, transfer, or modify the budget approved for the fiscal year 2026.
Decree validity
The decree establishes that its provisions shall take effect the day after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
